These are beautiful days for writing-September 28, 1921

My Darling:

Here I am in Groton and will not get into Ithaca until sometime tomorrow. I have had a real good day for a change and it seems rather good. In McGraw this morning, I got four greeting card orders out of one firm. Empire Card Company bought 1500 for $193.50 and three of the officers personal cards for $28, $16 and $19. At Groton this afternoon I have the bank for 1000 calendars for $203.37. So you see, put them all together and they spell a good day. It has not taken any more energy and salesmanship for today than yesterday for no new business.

I am anxious to get to Ithaca to get your letter. These are beautiful days for writing and wish you could enjoy them with me.

Except a heart full of love from your affectionate,

Jack

John has excellent handwriting. However, in some instances, I cant decipher it. If I can't, I simply mark the spot with "xxx"s to signify thank the word isn't decipherable.
