My darling

That was an awful lonesome ride. It rained or snowed all the way and the roads were horrible. The snow stuck into windshield, so I could hardly see the road. I got a little lunch in Syracuse and arrived here at 3:30. Called on Columbian Rope Company. They did not like the picture of ship showing so much rope at all and they did not like the Resolute much better. They rather liked the other, Tyler, but can't tell much about outcome yet.

You were right in having side curtains. I was none too warm in big coat. It has been snowing quite a bit this afternoon and it is much colder.

I have read Bulletin all through and was surprised to see your good Bulletin letter. It's fine. I only wish I could do half as well as you do. My nerves are sore today and I'm going to bed at 9:00 o'clock hoping to feel better tomorrow.

Colgate Musical Club is here tonight and I at first thought decided to go but later decided to stay in room and get to bed that much earlier.

Would like to hear from you at Moravia first, Auego, Oergo House, second, Binghamton third, Carlton.

Hope to get home for Sunday.

Accept much love for each,

John

I apologize. I notice now this letter is on the same date-a year later. I was rushing to go on vacation and still get a weeks worth published and I mistakenly published this out of turn. Tomorrow we’ll be back on track.
