My Darling

It is 10:30 PM. and I have just arrived at this town and I am very tired and sleepy. It will not be necessary for me to tell you anything about the funeral, as Rob has probably told you all about everything

that I could tell. Donald's remarks and prayer at the cemetery were splendid. Mrs. Morse told me that Marian is to have charge of the prayer meeting Wednesday night and I was trying to arrange my work so as to attend, but I finally decided that it would not be best. She is a wonderful young woman; very exceptional. I am enclosing a clipping from the Morning Sun and wish you would keep it.

Please send out those calendars and include one for Mr. Ganong and Mr. Champion if you can locate them. Kendall brothers, Elmira, NY. Have you given one to the Lloyds and Earl Blanchard?

I took five orders in Binghamton for $21 $22 $28, $18 and $34. All but the last were for greeting cards. I got two greeting card orders in Owego for $15.15 and $29. All small, but they help. I can't tell yet just where I’ll spend Sunday but probably either Wellsboro, Pennsylvania or Mansfield, Pennsylvania. Must get to bed as I am very tired.

Your loving

John

Editor's notes

This letter is out of order (but close). As you know, I'm opening these letters as you read them (or about a week ahead.) I'm sorting them by year and then by month and the date on the envelope (if any.) I filed this letter in the wrong order and didn't catch it until I started this batch. We'll be back on track tomorrow.
