SENATORS URGE SALE OF ARMS TO ARMENIANS

STATE OF BERLIN SERIOUS

PARIS, March 24.—A telephone message from the American Charg in Berlin to the American Embassy here this afternoon, said the situation in Berlin was serious. Spartacides hold one-half of the city and the Government the other half, the river Spree being the dividing line.

My Darling,

Guess there's never been a week when I've been more anxious to get home for Sunday but it can't happen this week. For three definite times this year I've tried to get into Margaretville and other towns and missed. This week I must get there. I went up to Worchester at 10:00 this morning and got two orders for $19 and $149.09. I hired a car to drive back to Scheneius. I got there at 4:00 o'clock just as Mr. Lovewell was ready to take car for Worcester. I went over to depot and he said he would see me at 7:00 o'clock tonight. We had a session at the bank this evening and he gave us the order for $175.27. I at first

thought I would take a train at 2:00 AM for Oneonta so as to get train out at U&D at 7:10 but Mr. Lovewell suggested that I hire a car and I did so to tune of a five dollar bill. Glad I'm here and will get good night's rest. I shall be lonesome Sunday at Downsville. Send a letter to Binghamton, the Carlton.

This is last letter you will get from me this week, as a letter written tomorrow night will not reach you Saturday. Your letter in the Bulletin was great and I am anxious to see your next one.

If our insurance policies permit additional insurance I want at least $1000 additional on house and $1000 on big barn. Herb can tell by looking at our policies. We are not nearly as well insured as we ought to be.

Our total sales for the week are $1855.86 in 14 orders. Are you glad?

Lots of love,

John
