My Darling:

Have not had a very profitable day's business; only one order for $16. I took lunch this noon with my friend John King. He gave me the order for greeting cards. Have been in Mayfield and Broadalbin his afternoon, but got skunked.

Last night I attended an evangelistic service at ME church and enjoyed it so much I have just come to hotel from tonight's service. Doctor Anderson a former Scranton preacher is the. evangelist and he is very good. There is a great need of work along this line and the Church needs to be stirred up to the need and the opportunity.

I expect to get into Amsterdam In forenoon and I know I'll find a letter or two from you.

Love unmeasured for each,

Your affectionate,

Jack

My Darling:

The enclosed letter was written before 6:00 last night and taken to Dolge post office, but I found that mail would not leave until noon today, so didn't mail it thinking it would reach you quicker from here. Don't send any mail to Johnstown or Gloversville as it will not reach me. Send letters to Amsterdam and one to St. Johnsville as I will be there Saturday AM. It is cold this morning, but it has been a delightful drive. Hope I may be able to start something in those towns these next days.

I am not exceedingly proud of my new coat––and it's cold without one! Wish I had as good a one as Frank didn't want.

Love unmeasured,

Jack
